Cheerleading :)

I miss cheering soooo much! I had surgery before my senior year of high school and didnt get to finish out my 12 year run! SO, the other day, I decided to see how many girls and guys I could round up from Jax to be on an adult cheer team. I made a facebook group called Jacksovnille Needs an Open Cheer Team, and in less than a week, 40 people joined! Thats enough for a huge team! Now I am just getting all the organizational stuff prepared so we can get together and start practicing. We are just planning on doing a rinky dink competition like Beach Blast that is cheap and fun! I am so excited!!!!

Life Right Now

is good! I am in school and truckin forward with all that, Jeremy and I are going strong, family is all happy at the moment, and I got a pink laptop!! woop woop! It is a Lenovo S10 ideapad. Its basically adorable! I got to see Tyce Galaska last night so of course the last 24 hours I had nothing to complain about! He did not even cry when I held him! He is just starting to see how much fun we can have! :) Anyways, so basically im rollin' in good times!

New Goals

After cleaning my horrendous room, I realized that a nice a clean room leaves my mind to think about other things, like actually being productive. You see, when my room is messy all I do is sit around and think about how I should clean it until I get up and do it! So, now that my room is spotless, I have time to think about other goals I would like to achieve!

I woke up yesterday and weighed myself for the first time in a couple months. I couldn't believe the result. I was down 7lbs from what I averaged last year! I couldn't believe it! I know that I was trying to be healthier, but I didn't know it was working that good! So my first goal is to keep up the good habits and try to exercise EVERY day! Who knows, maybe I will get completely in shape :)

Another one of my goals is to get all A's in my classes this semester. Last semester I got two B's and two A's. I am not unhappy with that average, but I know I can do better. As long as chemistry does not kick my butt! Whew!

As for this week, I would like to find a new job. The restaurant I work at is just so inefficient at scheduling and being organized, so I would love to venture out somewhere new! Or at least get the internship I am hoping for at Mayo Clinic so I do not have to work!!!! 

SO, I am raising an orange juice toast to my new goals! Here is to 2009! Woo!

:( Sad Confession

Well as it turns out, I will not be competing in the Miss Jacksonville 2009 pageant after all. I couldn't get everything together in time, things happened, and it just wont work out this time. Maybe next year...

On a happier note, me and a friend decided to do the Gate River Run. It is a 15k race and we have nine weeks till race day! See you there!

Confession time: I have been looking at pictures online of London! I know I know! I am a little obsessed. 

On another note, Thanks to Danielle Downing of Just Dandy! She made CARE look so cute and is helping to get the word out and get people involved! Totally love it! And she called me a real life friend!!! hahah woohoo!!! I love her blog! It is adorable and I can totally relate to being in love with weddings because I have DEF planned about 100 different ways to have my future wedding and I am not even engaged!!!!! 

Confession two: I love Jeremy Martin :) (maybe one day I will get to pick out my dream wedding with him!!!... and maybe we can go to London together!)

GATORS= National Champs! 

Jeremy and I got in his brand new hot tub after the game! I love hot tubs. Especially during the cold seasons. It is like hot apple cider..... just warms your soul :) 

Go Gators!

I am so excited/happy!!!! For one, I am off work tonight! WooHoo! Secondly, I am excited to see the Gators play in the national championship! YES.... I am still a FSU fan all the way, but common, it is exciting to see your boyfriend's alma mater to go all the way!!!! 

Other exciting news: 106 members of my facebook group C.A.R.E.!!!!!!! Also, Ryan (pageant coach) bought me this BEAUTIFUL white gown from Regalia(sp?) for the Miss Jacksonville pageant!!!!!! I must find some way to repay him for all he has done for me. It is just too nice :) But we are having fun! 

I started chemistry today. It wasn't as bad as I expected. The teacher is young and VERY quirky. At least he is not like the other teacher I tried to take chemistry from, he was old and monotone. It was a bad experience. Anyways, new teach is cool and doesn't go over every step like I am in kindergarden so at least I am happy about that! 

SO basically everything is well today! 

Happy Hump Day!

I am so excited today! My Facebook group CARE has hit 80 members overnight! I cannot believe it! I finished Confessions of a Shopaholic today. I love finishing a good book, but I am ready to move on to my next read, Velvet Elvis. I heard it gets you thinking! We will just have to see. Today my nephew, Mason, is sick. he woke up with an upset stomach and began vomiting. I hate it when he is sick :( No fun. 

I was up wayyyy too late last night being excited about all of this pageant blog stuff! Now I am paying for it and I have to go to work! I am crossing my fingers that I will get first cut! 

Starting Blogs is Fun!

Well I decided to make a blog just for me and my RANDOM thoughts and experiences! I named my blog "London In Waiting," mainly because ever since, well actually I cannot not remember when it started, I was little I have had a crazy fascination with London. The city. The fashion. The glamour. The royalty. I love it all. And I am STILL waiting to go on my dream vacation to that wonderful city!
